Bumble Bee Control
Bumble Bees are large and often mistaken with Carpenter Bees. The key distinction to tell the two bees apart is that the abdomen of the Bumble Bee is covered with very fine hair, whereas the Carpenter Bee’s is not and is shiny.
The good thing about Bumble Bees is that colonies only last for one season. At full nest maturity, a nest can contain approximately 100 workers.
It is very common to find Bumble Bee nests that are located in close proximity to buildings and homes and near within the soil near ornamental landscaping.
